Adult-only Areas For Carnival
Monday, April 2nd, 2007Carnival Cruises’ fleet of fantasy-class ships are to undergo a dramatic refurbishment programme that will see the creation of several adult-only areas.
The serenity decks will provide adult guests with a quiet place to relax and enjoy a drink and a chat away from the children, who can enjoy their own facilities elsewhere on board the ships.
The transformation comes as part of a $250 million programme to upgrade the existing amenities and design style of the fantasy-class vessels as well as providing guests with a range of new and exciting facilities.
Bob Dickinson, Carnival president and chief executive, said the refurbishment scheme represents "a multi-million-dollar investment designed to build upon these vessels’ tremendous appeal with vacationers by incorporating a host of new and exciting facilities and features".
As well as the serenity decks the programme will also provide guests with new spa and gym facilities, custom-designed lobby and bar areas and purpose built conference rooms.
Carnival Cruises has eight fantasy-class cruise ships, the first of which entered service in 1990.
