Celebrity Passengers Want European Cruises

Celebrity passengers want European cruises
Customers of Celebrity Cruises want to travel on Mediterranean and European cruises in the coming months.

And Celebrity Cruises has responded to this wish by deploying five of its cruise vessels in the Mediterranean region.

The ships, which will sail the region in 2009, have been named as Celebrity Century, Celebrity Constellation and Celebrity Summit as well as two ships which are currently under construction: Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Equinox.

"Our guests have told us repeatedly that Europe is where they want to be and they want to be there in style … by offering more ships and itineraries in Europe than ever before … Europe really is theirs for the taking," president of Celebrity Cruises Dan Hanrahan commented.

The ships will call at 76 ports in 29 countries - including five ports which will be new stop-off points for Celebrity Cruises.

Itineraries will include sailings to Scandinavia and Russia, the Arctic Circle and North Cape as well as the Mediterranean, Israel and Egypt.
