Overwhelming Demand Leads P&O Cruises To Launch New Sailing
Wednesday, October 17th, 2007P&O Cruises has devised a new sailing for its Tahitian voyage programme after it received an "overwhelming demand" for places on the cruise.
The cruise holiday will take place aboard its superliner Pacific Dawn and is scheduled to depart Sydney on June 4th 2009.
While Pacific Dawn will sail on its four-week Pearls of Tahiti cruise, Pacific Sun will be taking cruisers on an 18-night Samoan Secrets voyage from May 9th 2009.
"Cruising gives holidaymakers the chance to visit several destinations in the one holiday without any worries about getting around or travelling between places. Plus with all they have to offer, our ships are destinations in themselves," commented Ann Sherry, chief executive officer of Carnival Australia which represents P&O Cruises in Australia.
Sailings on the Pacific Dawn are also ideal for those on family cruises, with P&O Cruises noting that it has a huge 35-metre waterslide and three kids’ clubs as well as two pools.
The ship also has a casino and nine bars for adults to enjoy.
